Jose Medina, Co-Founder
Jose began his career in finance, sitting across the table from families and witnessing how thoughtful wealth building could change a life. He wanted to take that experience beyond the bank and into something you can walk through and call your own—real estate. Ask him his full-time job, though, and he won’t say “investor.” He’ll tell you he’s a husband and father first, and everything else comes second. That perspective shapes how he approaches Built by Medina: every property is more than an investment; it’s a place meant to feel solid, cared for, and worthy of the people who call it home. Away from the business, Jose brings that same heart to the field as a youth sports coach, spending his free time mentoring kids—including his own—and helping them grow through the game.
Stephanie Medina, Co-Founder
Steph built her career creating spaces where people and performance thrive. As a former Chief People Officer, she partnered with fast-growing, private-equity-backed companies to align culture, design, and leadership so results and humanity moved in sync. Today she leads two ventures with that same intentionality: Built by Medina, which invests in homes designed for lasting comfort and community, and FORÜ, a coaching and consulting company that helps leaders grow without breaking what makes their organizations great. For Steph, real estate is another canvas for her lifelong work—designing environments where people feel fully at home in their own lives.
